US DOJ sues Mississippi using Voters' Rights Act

Cross-posted at Rosemary's Thoughts.

This is outrageous. In one county of Mississippi, there was flagrant voters' rights denied, manipulated, paid off notaries public to illegally mark certain ballots, they imported illegal voters to run for office, they manipulated the registration rolls and so many other crimes that I'm surprised we haven't heard from the high heavens ne'er a word about this.

Here is one quote from Judge Tom Lee, "These abuses have been racially motivated." Where is Al Sharpton? Where is Jesse Jackson? Anyone? Hmm. This seems unual. Let us read further. Maybe they do show up.

The man who is in charge of local politics is Ike Brown. He does not appear to be related to any of the bigwigs in the north. Oh, he is also a two time felon. Judge Lee had this to say about Mr. Lee, "...being the majority race in Noxubee County, [he believes that the politians] should hold all elected offices, to the exclusion..." of all other races. There are 12,500 people that live in this county and the other race makes up 30% of all the people, yet they only hold 2 out of 26 seats in that county.

Judge Lee went on to condemn the political party of Mr. Brown for not taking more agressive steps to stop this abuse.

No. I don't see mention of the usual northern clamering people. Oh well. Maybe next time?

This is a great article, because it was written at all. It is a travesty of justice and it mocks our constitutional rights. I have not mentioned his race or party on purpose. Mr. Brown is a black man who believes that 'his' county's political seats should be held only by blacks, no whites need apply. Yes, he is a member of the Democrats. So are 9 out of 10 people in the press. Is it any wonder why you haven't heard of this travesty?

You want to start talking about a fairness doctrine? I say, "Let us start with the press."

Americans, Wake Up!

It would appear that even after September 11, 2001, some people still do not understand that this is an ideologic war most of all. After all, who is doing most of the bombing of innocents and most of the blaming? I AM TALKING ABOUT THIS CENTURY. Good God.

Maybe I should let someone else speak for a moment.
How many more terror plots will we unravel before one slips through the net and is carried out again domestically? N.Y. City Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said after the announcement of the arrests on Face the Nation, “Al Qaida is a philosophy now..it’s a movement.” Well, that is a good first step away from denial. It has only taken six years to get that baby step. But it is not Al Qaeda only. I pray it will not take another 6 years for Americans to comprehend that the philosophical problem is political Islam. The President’s lack of clarity and leadership in naming the ideology of our enemy, the inconsistency of Islamism with American pluralism, and the primary responsibility of Muslims not only to counter terror but to defeat political Islam will continue to give American Islamists the cover they need to grow under his watch with the stamp of approval of the Bush administration. Until we are willing to unravel the ideology which facilitates and apologizes for terror, we are ‘stuck in the mud.’

On June 2, 2007, right after the announcement of the JFK Plot arrests, U.S. Attorney, Roslynn Mauskopf read a statement stating,
“the defendants are charged with conspiring to bomb one of the busiest airports in the United States, located in the one of the most densely populated areas in the northeast…had the plot been carried out, it could have resulted in unfathomable damage, deaths, and destruction.”
This last time the Islamists were driven by a hate for the Kennedy name, but it derives from the same hate for America which is a common manifestation of global Islamism. In the daily practice of medicine, it would be malpractice to have a disease smolder with such a predictable recurrence of acutely possibly fatal exacerbations over a prolonged period of time while a physician only treated the symptoms and ignored the primary cause—political Islam. That is, except in the case of the terminal hospice patient. An unending series of plots across the globe against liberal democracies is our long war against an ideology. That ideology is not terror. It is political Islam.
Would you believe him if he were a Christian? A Jew? How about a Hindu?
Mr. President, as a devout Muslim, I can tell you that the only way the United States can make progress in this war is to have your administration give anti-Islamist Muslims acknowledgement for the centrality of their ideas in this war of ideologies. We can defeat political Islam only if we engage it and marginalize Islamists while positively engaging spiritual Islam. It is time for the administration to set the parameters defining the ideology we are fighting and be critical of organizations which facilitate it. The words of encouragement and admonition to Muslim organizations to lead the charge against radicalism are too vague. The reality is that the priorities, ideologies, and minority politics of the current agenda of the Islamic organizations the administration has courted and which attended last Wednesday’s press conference are far from being on the right page in this conflict.
Yes, he is a Muslim who has been speaking out against these Islamists for years, but who has heard him? Who will give him the time of day? The press?
The informants and so many others have stepped up in connection with other foiled plots despite the pressures against them from Islamists and the MSM. MSM often feed into conspiracy theories about informants, by legitimizing the victimization of Muslims for being “coerced” as informants. The Denver Post made just such a claim as recently as May 18, 2007. Their report claimed that, “Arab-Americans and Muslims are concerned about FBI efforts to recruit them as informants and other tactics designed to prevent terrorism.” This story was, to no one’s surprise, picked up and widely distributed by the Islamist organizations, e.g. CAIR.
And you wonder why CAIR is prevelant with only 1700 members? America had better wake up to real and true threat that we are all facing. If you would like to read his entire article, you will find it here. You may also reach him at his site: American Islamic Forum for Democracy. If you keep up with his writings and read his site often, you may learn a lot more than what the establiment is telling you.

Before I end this post, I just want England and Scotland to know that I have not forgotten them, and they are in my prayers. I am gathering 'news' to try to determine what is really happening over there. I thank God, my Lord in Christ, that everyone is okay...this time. America, WAKE UP!

Hat tip: Thank you, Mr. Jasser.

Speak their language

So, they want illegal aliens to move ahead of all the people waiting for years to come here, but they did it the proper way, eh? Do you feel as though there is nothing you can do? Do not fret!

I want to hear those phones a'ringing! Go get 'em, guys. We'll bring them to their knees. When they come with hands out this time, you know exactly what to do. Hand them the name of this bill, Comprehensive Immigration Reform, in the size of a check!

And as for you, Mr. Cracker-er-Graham...

You, sir, are a bigot. Only bigots call other people names when they do not have a proper (or any other kind) of argument, facts, ideas, etc. to discuss an issue. You think you are so important. Take it from me, you are not. There were South Carolina Senators before you, and there will South Carolina Senators after you. Yes, you are replaceable. My only concern is that it won't be quick enough!

My name is Mud, according to Trent Lott

Boy, this is not what I wanted to talk about! It just slipped out. Yes, I am one of those people who happens to listens to one of those eeeeeeeeeeeevil boxes where they hide all them there talking peoples. Yup, they let them go every 10 or 15 minutes to go potty. You know, with all that union stuff, it's probably required. Oh my, don't you just love all this freedom?

Trent Lott, you are too loud. You are soooo loud that I think you may need a long break from public service. You obviously have forgotten which country and state you were elected, by the privilege of the good people of Mississippi, to serve. Not belittle. Not yell at. Not ignore. Yes, I do believe it is time to end your political career. What do think about that?

Tough! This is America, and you CANNOT shut me up. Bigger and better people than you have tried, and they have failed. :)

Oh? You really believe this bill is off the table? Or is this a ploy to get us off their backs and off our guard? You know how politicians are. Who do you believe? Would you rather be wrong and have taken steps to stop them just in case, or would you rather sit back and get taken to the cleaners...one more time? I thought so. The petition is at the site. Thank you, and have a great day.

Update: No longer do I print it that it comes out it print in the Opinion Journal: The 'Amnesty' Canard, Sen. Jon Kyl talks about efforts to forge an immigration compromise. I was saying on Thursday that this bill was not dead while everyone was rejoicing. Okay, I let you have your moment. Why not? We worked hard for that moment, but that moment has passed. Let's get back to work as soon as possible to let these people know we mean business! Ready, set, GO!

Pundit Review may go national. Please help us!

I was emailing Gregg Jackson, author of, Conservative Comebacks to Liberal Lies, about an issue that caught my eye. That is when I found out that the Pundit Review Radio Program may be going national! I am so very happy for them.

In case you do not know of them, they have a talk radio show and a website. What they do with their talk radio show is invite bloggers on to discuss their blogs, current events and to give a different point of view than we get from the Washington talking heads. That's right. We are given the opportunity to express our own minds, and it is very refresshing.

Their website is Pundit Review, and their radio program which is on Sunday evenings, 7-10pm EST, at station WRKO. They would be delighted to hear from you. The toll free number to call in is 877-469-4322. Thank you, and have a great weekend. :)

Pelosi Effect: Pro-Democracy groups in ME hunted

After Ms. Pelosi visited Syria against President Bush' 'wishes', they, the murderous dictators, went back to their old selves because they believe there is no longer any pressure coming from America. They believe they can censor, torture, arrest for no reason just as long as you say ANYTHING against your government, and more.

Ms. Pelosi, why? Why would you want to give our enemies that thought? Why would you deny civil, human, and womens' rights to others? You know the kind. The kind you are celebrating for being speaker of the house. Who are you that you can do this to the years these brave young activists have fought and achieved some headway, until you come along and destroy it all? Who in the HECK are you and just who do you think you are?

My fellow Americans, please do not take my word alone about this. I am heartbroken and angry. I believe you would be better served if you were to hear it from the mouth of someone who is actually living there.

His name is Sandmonkey, and Atlas Shrug has interviewed him. You decide for yourself, but please. Put yourself in his shoes, then open your mind before reading and listening to the interview. Thank you.

The World Bank fiasco, or is there one?

I have not been following this World Bank problem, because I was upset that Mr. Wolfowitz would allow himself to get tangled with corruption. That's what I get for listening to the dinosaur media. Shame on me!

I was just reading the Opinion Journal and I must admit, I am pleasantly surprised.
Sub-Saharan Africa is the world's poorest region, and Mr. Wolfowitz has appropriately made it his top priority. On his first day on the job, he met with a large group of African ambassadors and advocates. His first trip as bank president was a swing through Burkina Faso, Nigeria, Rwanda and South Africa. He also recruited two African-born women vice presidents, a rarity at the bank.

If you're surprised by that last fact, then you don't appreciate that the World Bank has always been a sinecure for developed-world politicians. They get handsome salaries, tax free, and their performance is measured not by how much poverty they cure but by how much money they disperse. [Continue reading.]
Now you see why we should never buy another newspaper, watch another TV news program or believe anything the Leftist commies tell us. It simply is not true.

What is the sense of having free speech if you are only going to use it to lie? I'm not talking about one or two people. I'm talking about a culture dominated with communists! And they critize us for speaking the truth? Now we know why!

Stop the politics at the waters edge. We are at war

To whom it may concern,

First allow me to acknowledge that I know none of you politicians give a damn. I get it. However I am going to make my plea and my case here. In this fashion, the rest of us are able to voice our opinions.

Since before this war began, I am referring to the whole war-not just one theatre, you have been calling it a quagmire. I remember when you did so in Afghanistan. You said we could not do what the Communist USSR could not do. I'm glad to see how much faith you have in your own country's ability to defend herself. Not.

Then there were the so-called pre-war protests. Then the anti-Bush protests. Never was there an actual pre-war protest that did not have the interests of our enemies involved with them, and you fell for it. How sad of a human being you are.

Now you are acting like the French. Let me revise that. At least the French are not putting up their white flags this time. How much of a coward can you be to be less than the French?

You have been beating the same drum since your inception. You have not even changed a word. You are so familiar and so stale.

You also know that if you repeat your big lies often enough, people that do not know anything about that topic will start to believe you. Great. You have given Stalin what he never could have gain on his own. Oh, what useless idiots you are!

Now. When our men and women go to war to defend our country, our lives, our way of life; shut up. We have only one commander-in-chief, and you are not he. You have every opportunity you need at your fingertips to speak to him. Do not express your weakness of fear to the enemy. It is not you who will pay the price for your reckless disregard of our troops, but it is you whose hands will be stained with our blood. Al-Jazeera will make sure of that.

I do not know why we are not following the Constitution and throwing you in prison for treason. It very well could be due to the idiot AG who is giving his testimony today about how much he does not know. What a terrible shame.

Why do you tell the media not to show our successes? Why do you not allow us to participate in this war? Why do you continue to give our secrets to the New York Times? Why are they not in prison for aiding and abetting our enemies?

Just a few questions the AMERICAN PEOPLE are asking. Oh, I know you have the big mouths. I know they get most of the attention. That is because you agree with them, and you are using them as a surrogate.

A word to wise, if there are any to be found, in the Democrat party. (Republican Party, too.) You did not win this election based on anything for which you ran. Many of us did not bother fighting for either party because we are AMERICANS, and we want you to start acting like it as well. We want this politicizing the Global War on Terrorism stopped. Now.

What has caused my ire? Iraq war 'lost' says top Democrat by al-Jazeera.

From Farid Ghadry's Lips to Pelosi's Ears

I found this article yesterday at Little Green Footballs, and I had to read the rest of it. It is quite astonishing how ignorant many people are, including myself sometimes. Please read the whole article:
As a Muslim, I fully understand respect of our religion by visiting US officials and I applaud that respect. Had Speaker Pelosi worn the Hijab inside a Mosque, this would have indicated respect but for Pelosi to wear it on the streets of Damascus all the while she is sitting with the self-imposed Baschar al-Assad who has come to symbolize oppression and one of the reasons why women are forced to wear the Hijab as they turn to religion to express their freedom is a statement of submittal not only to oppression but also to lack of women's rights in the Middle East. Pelosi just reversed the work of the Syrian civil society and those who aspire for women's freedom in the Muslim countries many years back with her visual statement. Her lack of experience of the Middle East is showing.

Assad could not have been happier because Syrian women, seeing a US official confirming what their husbands, the Imams in the Mosques tell them, and the society at large imposes on them through peer pressure will see in her wearing a Hijab as a confirmation of the societal pressures they are constantly under. No one will ever know how many women took the Hijab on after seeing Pelosi wearing it. [Read the whole letter.]
Indeed. And they claim the mantle for women? Human rights? (Don't forget the genocide in Darfur, North Korea, Iran, etc.) Despicable.

Update: Gateway Pundit also has a word or two for Ms. Pelosi, or should I say Assad is too busy watching a ball get all over the place which is preferable to the Ms? Gateway Pundit: Pelosi Snubbed... Assad Blows Off Speaker For Soccer Game!

Hat tip: Serendip. Thanks. This was interesting to say the least. I hate Turkey as much as Syria, so that really ties it all in together, eh? LOL.

PM Shinzo Abe to visit President Bush April 26-27

During the weekend of April 26-27, the Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe, shall visit President Bush at Camp David to discuss North Korea and Iraq. As usual, if you get along with President Bush then they throw a lot of dirt at you.

I am NOT saying that it is okay to deny that women were forced into prostitution during WWII. BY NO MEANS! It was not right then, and it is not right now. What I am saying, however, is what does that have to do with the price of eggs in China?

Apparently, he was misquoted (ah-hem) while speaking earlier in the week. The US Congress is seeking a 'nonbinding' resolution urging Japan to apologize formally for forcing thousands of women into the brothels.

One question. Why? Are we not at war? What's up with all of these 'nonbinding' resolutions? If you are not going to make them stick, then shut up. Now, back to the story (sorry, but that is part of the story that CNN wrote).

Next is the fact that the PM went to China first instead of the USA. This is a big deal? Oh, it breaks tradition, does it? I thought you didn't want anyone to feel obliged. So what's up with that? He can go where and when he wants!

BTW, we have over 50,000 troops on Japan's soil, and we have over 37,000 troops on the 37th (?) parallel line in South Korea. WHEN ARE THEY COMING HOME, HUH? What's the plan, man? You've got all the answer. What's the damn plan? Don't have one, do ya? Ha. Didn't think so. So shut up!

What is wrong with me, you ask? I know. It does look unlike me. When I read about this article, Sudan's government attacks Darfurian civillians, kills 65, I lost it. I've had enough BS, and I just don't feel like taking it anymore. Everyone can hate me. Fine. But when you go after innocent, helpless people and children? I get PISSED OFF. See? I thought you might. After all, even Jesus got anger. The only difference is, He did not sin in His anger. *Oops*

And I don't even think I covered the article! The link for the source will take you to the article. Just give her a click. Thank you, and have a great day!

San Fran Nan goes to Damascus to wear hijab?

Damascus, Syria, Tuesday April 3, 2007. AP Photo by Hussein Malla.
Here she is seen viewing the tomb of John the Baptist. Why is she smiling? It looks as though she is laughing. What happened to her skin? She's third in line for president?

President Bush has stated clearly, and accurately I might add, that she should not even have gone to Syria. They are on the State Dept.'s State Sponsor of Terrorism list. YO LAAAADY! You ain't president yet. Get out of the job of the executive office! I sometimes really, really don't like these politicians.

Judge arrested for pot sits on rehab board...still

Jack Lewis is always finding these tidbits that are just outrageous. Can you imagine this? I mean, if you don't live in California or DC! lol.
SUMMARY: Broward Circuit Judge Lawrence Korda, recently arrested for marijuana use, sits on the board of directors for The Starting Place, a United Way funded drug rehab center. It is unclear if any action at all will be taken against the judge.

You Are 28% Politically Radical

You've got a few unusual political ideas, but overall you're a pretty mainstream person. Chances are that you're turned off by both the radical right and looney left.
So, this stupid test doesn't think I AM the whacky right? They ask mostly Leftist questions! The ones they ask that are supposed to be close to the Right are so far off-base of what we actually believe, it makes me just say, "Oh well." There they go again!
