Is bin Ladin video fake?

Cross-posted at Rosemary's Thoughts.

Since I do not have the expertise that these people whom I am going to direct you to have, I think it best to do this in that manner.

Here are some of the sources:
Laura Mansfield web site: Bin Laden stresses martyrdom in short segment of new As Sahab video.

Video Web Link from Laura Mansfield web site.

CNN: Newly released bin Laden video calls for martyrdom.

ABC News: Possible New Message From Osama Bin Laden.

FOX News: Osama Bin Laden Appears in New Video, Officials Probe Authenticity.

Hadeeth Sunnah Sahih Bukhari, Book 52. Fighting for the Cause of Allah (Jihaad). Quote from Volume 4, Book 52, Number 54.
I would personally go to Laura Mansfield's and Counter Terrorism Blog for any serious discussion of what is happening in the world today. They are very prolific in history as well.

News from NK and Darfur, Sudan

First I would like to explain that I do give the link to the articles, but it is rather frustrating when you look for an article that is no longer there. That is why I have created another link, Love America First-2, so that if you cannot find the article, it may very well be located over there. If they don't want the public to read their material, they shouldn't print it! That's that.

Let's get to North Korea's desire to speak with President Bush one-on-one. Isn't this remarkable? NO! He has been crying for this ever since our president came into office. It is quite humorous the way it is covered in the news, however.
NK wants direct military talks with U.S.

SEOUL, South Korea (Reuters) - North Korea called on Friday for military talks with the United States for peace and security on the peninsula, with Washington saying it can discuss a peace treaty after Pyongyang abandons its nuclear program.
Do you notice how they treat this communist dictator with respect? Sounds very inviting, right?
Six-way talks on ending North Korea's nuclear arms programs are set to resume on Wednesday in Beijing. The North, which has long sought direct talks with the United States, usually holds bilateral meetings with U.S. officials within those discussions
Sounds like President Bush is the bad guy in this matter! Remind me, who's building the nuclear weapons?

Now we will discuss the dishonesty of the reporting on Darfur, Sudan, along with the situation in Africa.
U.S. envoy says Sudan bombing civilians in Darfur.

KHARTOUM, Sudan (Reuters) -- The top U.S. envoy for Darfur on Friday accused the Sudanese government of bombing civilian targets in its war-ravaged western region and rebels of cynically obstructing international efforts to end the conflict.
Bashir always denies any attacks he authorizes. He does authorize them, because the janjaweed does not do anything without his instructions.
International experts estimate 200,000 [It has been 400,000 for 2 years now!] people have died as a result of ethnic[, religious] and political conflict in Darfur since it flared in 2003 when mostly non-Arab rebels took up arms after accusing the central government of neglect. [LIE! It was the Arab janjaweed that was raping, pillaging, murdering, flash burning the land, and committing genocide that started the war.] Washington calls the violence genocide, and blames the government and its allied militia. Khartoum rejects the term and says only 9,000 have died.
I guess you've noticed that I could not restrain myself. Reuters is one of the worst newspapers in the whole world. It ranks right up there with al Jazeera!

What a lot of people do not understand is that is both Kartoum and Darfur have mostly Muslim people living there. The difference? The people in Kartoum are Arab, the people in Darfur are native and black. They are fighting against Sharia law and genocide. Wouldn't you?

These people truly need help, and we may be the only ones in the world that can help them. Our so called leaders would have to change the ROE (rules of engagement). Al Qaida is hiding in the mountains where over 2 million people had to flee their homes as the terrorists moved in to OCCUPY the place. They have many training camps up there, but why talk about that? That isn't news. Oh no. We're not at war. Ya think?!

BTW, I checked. All of the reporters copy/pasted the Reuters article for the Darfur article. Gee, I could do that, and I did not need to go to college to figure out how!

Video for Darfur - Send peacekeepers NOW!

Please listen to this video. It says in a few seconds what I have been saying for years. There is only one difference. I am not asking you for anything other than a phone call (Toll free: 866-340-9281). I will never ask you for a dime or a penny. They do not ask for any money in this video for which I am grateful. However, when you go to their site, they will.

They do not have a bad site. You should visit it just to educate yourself. BTW, it has been 400,000 killed for a couple of years now. Do ya think the number ought to be higher? I do.

The Darfurians have no voice other than yours. Please consider abolishing slavery and Jihadist genocide. If you have any question, please contact me. I will gladly answer any questions to the best of my ability. Thank you for your time to read this. It would mean a lot more to me if you would raise your voice...politely! :)

Airman gets shot by anti-war creep, news blackout

This is a heart-breaking and maddening story. It was sent to me by Sonnabend, and I believe it is originally from Michelle Malkin. Here are her words:
"My son's best friend, Jon, who's in the Air Force stationed in New Jersey at Fort Dix/McGuire Air Force Base was shot by a crazed anti-military white guy on Independence Day and he remains in critical condition. He had been on leave here in Ohio and got back to his home off base and was unpacking stuff from his car when this 22 year old guy walked up to him and asked him if he lived in the house. When Jon said yes, the guy said "not any more" and shot him point blank in the chest. He tried to shoot him again, but his gun jammed. Jonathan made it into the house. The guy then shot himself.

Turns out the guy left a couple of suicide notes stating how much he hated the military and he wanted to go out making a statement, so he chose to make his statement on Independence Day trying to kill a soldier. We are very worried about our Airman. He's the sweetest, nicest, do anything for ya kid and he's like a son to me. He's been to Iraq and Afghanistan on our behalf and then gets shot in his own driveway here in the U.S by an anti-war, anti-American lunatic. This is gut wrenching."

I am posting this tonight. Can we all (I know you decide for yourselves but if we all do this, I think it will matter) put a post on this?

The MSM is pretending it didnt happen,...this is hot on the heels of the man threatening to shoot Rush Limbaugh.

I know what you post is your business, but I think we all need to let this one be known.A US soldeer is in critical condition because some ant war loon shot him IN HIS OWN HOME.
The dinosaur media is anti-American, but do they have to be so flippant about it? I am glad this a**hole shot him. I wouldn't want him to be in a prison and breathe the same air I breathe. (Or that I would have to pay for.)

My request is for anyone and everyone who reads this to please pray for this young man who is the victim of this nut's rage. He can be healed through pray, but only if you so. Believe it. I've seen it happen. So pray, please. Add this post to Del.icio.us

It's 10:20 pm. Do you know where your blogger is?

My brother, while he may be joking, keeps telling me (EVERY TIME he sees me on the computer) to stop blogging. I've been called names that Webster has never even thought of before! No, I'm not going to repeat them. lol.

I spend most of my days answering emails and researching information that I have received from those emails. See, I'm not like the NY Times. I actually care about my credibility! I don't want to put something out there that is just a rumor or a straight out lie. No, I do not get sent lies on purpose. It's just that most people, including myself, can be fooled. When that happens, I will let you know ASAP!

I wish I had some news for you, but I've just been too busy, I noticed there were two car bomb attempts over in the UK, and I am floored by what the PM Brown did in response. No one is allowed to use the word, "Muslim"? WTH? That will cause them to stop...my butt! Do these people, do any people, realize that THEY have declared WAR on us? Anyone who does not agree with Sharia Law or Mohammad, you die. Even if you, apparently.

They blew up the mosque again, what was left of it. All of these were inside jobs. They have found 8 people in England ARE police officers, because they cannot fire them for comporting with the enemy. This PC crap has got to go!

Well, everyone already knew about this. That's why I said I didn't have any news. Everyone be good to your neighbor today and always. Everyone turn in the enemies of our country (whichever one is yours) for as long as it takes. We are in this together, whether you like it or not. There are only two outcomes. Victory or Defeat. Try living with that as our papers and congress are ready to throw in the towel...

Woe is me!

It is almost 5pm, and I am just waking up. It may have something to do with the fact that I did not go to sleep until after noon! I was working on trying to duplicate my Rosemary's Thoughts template with one that had my 'Rosemary's Thoughts' as its URL. You would not believe how HARD that is to do!

Why would I want to do that, anyway? To make it easier for you guys. If you would like to find me, either bookmark me, add me to your sidebar so you don't have to remember the URL or google me. lol. I have to go back now and erase my registration for the other site in Feed.Feedburner! Oivay!

Oh, by the time I got to my email, I had 117 messages! Wow! If I haven't gotten back to you yet, please do not despair. It takes a while to go through them. I have some DoD Daily News work to do yet (but you can catch it first at DoD Daily News-2). I also have some religious posts that need updating, and I have some news for Knickerbocker News. But enough about my 'to do's'. lol.

Have a good day everyone, and don't forget to let your senators hear your voices on this amnesty bill! There is another cloture vote in the morning, June 28, 2007. We MUST kill this bill. The number is TOLL FREE 1-866-340-9281. :)

Rosemary's Thoughts

I have started a new site named, "Rosemary's Thoughts, because I think it will be better for me to express myself better in a different forum. Not that I can't or don't do so here, but I want a site where not so much is expected from me. lol.

I really like the way it looks, and I don't want to 'customize' this site. Even though the other site looks nice, I still want my HTML! I know they have it over at the other site, but I cannot use the href in the template. If I mess up and lose one of the tags, I will lose all of my links that were connected to it! (I do save my template on word, so it isn't that bad. It's just a pain.)

Besides, I want a place where I can just express myself, no matter what. Here, I am more professional (stop laughing!) than I have to be over there. I will post everything I write over there, but I will also have some more writings over there. Who knows? Maybe I'll even have everything I ever wrote over there!

Yes, that would be cool. I could combine everything written on my others, and put them there. That way, I don't have to wonder who's writing what, who's commentting where, etc. That sounds logical to me. No wonder I failed the, "Your Brain is 27% Female, 73% Male" quiz!

Iraqi politicians agree deal on sharing oil, says Kurd Minister

Cross-posted at Rosemary's Thoughts.

I came upon this fantastic article (if it is true) today over at Matt Drudge's site. Here is a portion:
Written by: Michael Howard in Sulaymaniya.
    Thursday June 21, 2007
    The Guardian.

Iraq's Kurdish leaders said last night they had struck an important deal with the central government in Baghdad over a law to divide up Iraq's oil revenues, which is seen by the Bush administration as one of the benchmarks in attempts to foster national reconciliation.

Ashti Hawrami, the minister for natural resources in the Kurdistan regional government, told the Guardian the text had been finalised late last night after 48 hours of "tough bargaining" with Baghdad. The deal represented "a genuine revenue sharing agreement" that was transparent and would benefit all the people of Iraq and help pull the country together, he said. [Continue reading.]
I have also included many of the other stories links. If you are interested in some of the articles, you may find a link to that story that is no longer on the first page. lol. Have a great day.

Sen. Joe, Pres. George, and Pres. Sarkozy

We have heard from Sen. Joe on Sunday what we should be hearing or seeing from President Bush, but he's too busy trying to give terrorists amnesty--er--I mean illegal aliens--er--I mean 'comprehensive immigration reform' that everyone should be smart enough to agree upon. NO!

Continuing, President Bush did have some good news over the weekend, however. He received a heroes welcome in Albania. They even named the street in front of their Capitol after him.

Now Sarkozy, wow! It looks as if the conservatives over in France (of all places!) are kicking the pants off the communists at the ballot box! Wow! I wonder what that feels like...

JVERITAS: Iraqi documents translated

I have been busy bringing all the links I had put into a 'Link' category back onto my homepage. I have realized that people were not listing me in their blogroll because they did not see their site on my blogroll. I apologize for letting you down but if you take a look, you will see your names now. If you do not find your link, please let me know! Oh, don't forget to look in 'My Cool and Foreign Sites' because I have too many links in their to put on the homepage. Most of them are also in other categories, so I hope I got them all. Anyway, let me know.

Now onto the article. I have decided to introduce you to these different people by letting you know about their sites. I am going to have at least one per weekday for you to check out. I am going to start with JVERITAS.

This is a great site if you are watching carefully for news about the documents that have been found in Iraq. He translates what is found, even if it is only a partial document, so that we can see for ourselves and make up our minds if it was right to go in when we did. I do not believe that is his reason for doing this, but this is why I read it.

He does not always post. His last post is January 31, 2007, but keep checking back. That's what I do. It's nice to know someone cares enough to do this. Thank you, and have a nice day.

PS: This last post is about chemical weapons that were purchased between 2000-2003.

Update: Since this is the first one of this kind, I have decided to add a new label just for the blogs I will introduce you to. The label will be 'botd' which stands for Blog of the Day.' This way, you can find all of the blogs I introduce here (in case you miss them of them or want to find them again). Have a nice weekend.

American Patriotic Muslims

I just read an Opinion Journal article written by Irshad Manji about that poll that was taken by PEW company. We heard much about how 1 in 4 thought suicide bombings were acceptable, but we did not hear about what the rest of the implimications and answers were. I found it very interesting, and I think you will too. You may even by surprised by it. It is named, "Muslim Melting Pot; Once again, America beats Europe on assimilation."

There is an answer to many of the people who are wondering why they do not hear the voices of the moderate Muslims. There is one man, Dr. Jasser, who heads "American Islamic Forum for Democracy." He is a moderate Muslim, and I have gotten involved with him by receiving emails.

I do check out the articles against the facts. I would expect you to do so as well. After all, we do that with the NY Times, don't we? lol. But for most part, this is a nice man. Please show him some support. Thank you.

Finally, Congressman Jefferson was indicted today

Many of us have been wondering for over two years now what was happening, if anything, with the Jefferson case. You do remember that dude that had $90,000 in his refrigerator? He has been indicted by the federal government for having "received more than $500,000 in bribes and sought millions more in nearly a dozen separate schemes to enrich himself by using his office to broker business deals in Africa, according to a federal indictment Monday." If you would like to read the rest of the Yahoo News report, you may do here.

Just in case any of you wondering why I usually copy the news stories that I link to, I do it because I have had too many problems linking to an article and it disappears. I do not like that. At the place where I send you is a page I have created simply to solve this problem. Over there, you will find the link to the article, if it works at all by the time you get there! lol. Hey, just because they may not be credible, at least you will still be able to read their articles.

Ah, I noticed that, too. Why would I use their news articles if they were not credible? What I meant was that they move their articles. Not that the news wasn't credible sometimes. God! I can't help myself! LOL.

Rev. Falwell died today. May he rest in peace

Rev. Jerry Falwell founded the Moral Majority around 1980, and he was a major player in helping to elect President Reagan. Here is a little of what Yahoo News has written about him:
The fundamentalist church that Falwell started in an abandoned bottling plant in 1956 grew into a religious empire that includes the 22,000-member Thomas Road Baptist Church, the "Old Time Gospel Hour" carried on television stations around the country and 7,700-student Liberty University. He built Christian elementary schools, homes for unwed mothers and a home for alcoholics.

He also founded Liberty University in Lynchburg, which began as Lynchburg Baptist College in 1971. [Continue reading.]
This is where they found Rev. Falwell unconscious. They rushed him to the hospital, applied CPR, but it did not bring back our beloved friend. You will be missed, Rev. Falwell. May you rest in piece.

News from South Asia to Asia

This first article is about the chaos over the assassination of Hariri.
BEIRUT: In an official letter to the United Nations on Monday, Prime Minister Fouad Siniora requested help with the establishment of an international tribunal to try suspects in the 2005 assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri "as a matter of urgency." "We called on the UN Security Council to establish the court as soon as possible after all possible means to ratify it in Lebanon have failed," Minister of Information Ghazi Aridi told reporters after a Cabinet meeting late Monday. [Continue reading.]
This next article is about a crazy man, Ahmadinejad, who believes that America will 'repent' after Iran attacks us.
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Monday threatened "severe" retaliation if the United States attacked his country - a tough response to recent comments by the US vice president that Washington would prevent Iran from dominating the region. Ahmadinejad also said Iran had agreed for the benefit of the Iraqi people to meet with the US in Baghdad to discuss security in Iraq. [Continue reading.]
This article is quite ironic. The Minister of the Interior has resigned.
The Palestinian interior minister resigned on Monday, rocking a two-month-old unity government after the biggest surge in factional fighting in months revived fears of civil war.

Despite an Egyptian-brokered truce, two Palestinian gunmen and two civilians caught in crossfire were killed in clashes between the Hamas and Fatah groups in in Gaza. Nine people have been shot dead since a new round of violence erupted on Friday. [Continue reading.]
I'm not sure what to make of this article. If Egypt is truly only going after the Muslim Brotherhood, then this is a good thing. On the other hand, however, if they are going after anyone who disagrees with the government, this is NOT good.
CAIRO: Egypt upheld a decision Monday by President Hosni Mubarak to have some 40 members of the opposition Muslim Brotherhood group tried by a military court, a judicial source said. Supreme Administrative Court Judge Issam Abdel-Aziz reversed a May 8 ruling in a lower court which declared invalid the president's decision, the source told AFP.

The military trial of the men, charged with money laundering and financing a banned organization, is now scheduled to resume on June 3. [Continue reading.]
Even the Prime Minister of Japan has a comment on the war in Iraq.
TOKYO: Japanese Premier Shinzo Abe on Monday strongly defended the invasion of Iraq, calling Saddam Hussein a dictator who posed a threat to the region. Abe is seeking parliamentary approval to extend an air-force mission in Iraq amid growing international criticism of the war, with Britain's likely next premier Gordon Brown promising a new approach. [Continue reading.]
Last, but not least by far, is an article about an Iranian newspaper being placed back on the market after being banned for nine months. It has agreed not to 'embarrass' the government, so I don't know how much 'news' we will receive.
TEHRAN: Shargh (East), the flagship newspaper of Iran's moderates, returned to newsstands Monday after a nine-month ban to join a diverse range of other moderate titles. The return of Shargh, a newspaper with a 100,000 daily circulation that was known for its criticism of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's government, came a day after the like-minded Ham Mihan republished after a seven-year ban. Continue reading.]
I hope I was able to bring you some news that you did not already know. You can also find news like this in The Daily Star. It comes from Lebanon. Have a great day.

Glenn Beck's Show on CNN: Exposed: Climate of Fear

A discussion about Glenn Beck's book, "Exposed: Climate of Fear" will air on CNN at 7pm and 9pm on May 2, 2007.
There are still questions about why Earth is warming and what man can do about it. In “Exposed: Climate of Fear,” a one-hour special airing May 2, Glenn Beck examines how the media portray global warming – such as in the documentary "An Inconvenient Truth" – and he looks for answers and solutions.

Glenn Beck airs every night at 7 and 9 p.m. ET on Headline News.
This should be very interesting...Since I do not have cable, please let me know how it turns out. Thank you.

Georgia schools elective: The Bible

This is wonderful news! Due to a law passed recently, some schools are choosing to allow their students the choice of taking a course entitled, "The Bible in History and Literature." I found this over at The Scrooge Report. You really should check it out. The only thing I wonder about is why does he consider himself to a scrooge? :)

Uncle Jimbo and Kevin's Prefly

This week during Uncle J and Kevin' Prefly, they will be discussing the Lynch and the Tillman cases that are before the Senate. There are a couple f-bombs in it, and a few sh** bombs. If you can get past these, it is a pretty Pre-Friday Freely.

Here is the link to their article, and here is the link to YouTube where you may also subscribe to receive this every week!
