Duncan Hunter on radio with Pundit Review tonight

The Pundit Review Radio program will not be heard from 7-8 pm EST tonight because of sports, but they will be on the air as soon as the game is over. This should be approxiamately 8pm. At 8pm, the guest will be Congressman Duncan Hunter, candidate for president of the United States. Don't miss this opportunity to ask him your most important questions. It will be live streaming from WRKO in Boston. (That just means you can listen through your computer. How cool is that?!)

At 9pm EST, there will be someone to present the "Someone You Should Know" segment. Make sure to stop over and maybe even give them a call of encouragement. Thank you.

PS. For those of you who are new to the site, please tune in 1/2 hour early. You will have to register (free) before you can use the live feed. It may not take you as long it took me. I'm a little clumsy. lol. Thank you.

Thank you, Congressman Duncan Hunter

On the night of this last debate (debatable), Duncan Hunter stayed for another hour to answer questions through a tele-conference. You may listen to that here.

I would personally like to thank Cong. Hunter for taking the time to speak with us. It was a very good conversation. Senator Tom McClintock from Citizens for the California Republic set up this opportunity for us. I would like to thank him as well. Thank you, Tom.

If you would like to join the Citizens for the California Republic, fill out this form at their site.

We would be honored to include you in our team to take back the California from those who seem to believe they know more than 'we little people' who don't understand anything more complex than 2+2. But I digress.

There is also a petition that needs to be signed to keep Sen. Feinstein from voting in favor of this amnesty bill. (She will not answer any e-mail that does not come directly to her, so use this URL.) Here are also some numbers:

Oh? You really believe this bill is off the table? Or is this a ploy to get us off their backs and off our guard? You know how politicians are. Who do you believe? Would you rather be wrong and have taken steps to stop them just in case, or would you rather sit back and get taken to the cleaners...one more time? I thought so. The petition is at the site. Thank you, and have a great day.

Update: No longer do I print it that it comes out it print in the Opinion Journal: The 'Amnesty' Canard, Sen. Jon Kyl talks about efforts to forge an immigration compromise. I was saying on Thursday that this bill was not dead while everyone was rejoicing. Okay, I let you have your moment. Why not? We worked hard for that moment, but that moment has passed. Let's get back to work as soon as possible to let these people know we mean business! Ready, set, GO!

Post-Debate

I must say, they all knew what everyone wanted to hear, but I was not impressed. Not at all. The top tier? THEY ALL SUCKED. The second tier? They all did well, but I cannot remember one quote. Maybe it's just me, but I do not think Chris what's-his-name was the right person for this forum. God, how many times are they going to ask about religion? Why was the emphasis so heavily about abortion? Could it be that they wanted to 'scare' women?

Why were there no questions about the economy, trade, China, North Korea, Sudan, oil dependency, education, etc? Because they don't believe Republicans have any worthwhile ideas!

The whole thing sucked, and the American people are the worse off for it.

Political eyes and ears front and center!

I have just been informed that my site for Duncan Hunter for President is up and ready. I am really going to depend on everyone to keep their eyes opened to any speeches, interviews, forums, letters to the editor you might come across during your daily surfing. Please let me know immediately by e-mailing me.

If you would like to join me in electing Congressman Hunter for President, or if you would like some information on who he is and what issues are important to him, just ask me. I will be writing about them over there, but I will also try to post them here as well.

Here are just some of the issues I can confirm that he stands for:
  • 1. He saw to it that the first and only fence so far to keep illegal aliens out was built in San Diego, CA.
  • 2. He is for FAIR trade, not 'free' rip-me-off-through-deficit-spending trade.
  • 3. He has served our country well as an Army Ranger in the VietNam War (173rd Airborne Brigade and the 75th Army Rangers).
I am not asking you to drop your life and join the race. However I am asking you to inform yourself about Duncan. In 2006, Duncan and Lynne celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary; they have two sons, Duncan Duane, who served two tours in Iraq in the U.S. Marine Corps and will be serving his 3rd term this month. Sam Hunter, a business student at San Diego State University. Duncan D. and his wife, Margaret, have three children, Duncan Lee, Elizabeth Grace and Sarah Louise, and reside in Boise, Idaho. Sam was married on Valentine’s Day 2004 to the former Theresa Heger of Jamul and they had their first child, Marin, in October of 2006.

Thank you for your time. :)

First Generation Roundtable (R)

Justin has done something incredible. He has invited some teens to a roundtable to discuss issues of substance. The full text can be read here. There are some intriguing questions and answers, and I recommend we listen. Thank you, and have a nice day.

Rep. Duncan Hunter for President in 2008

I have been watching Rep. Hunter's career for a long time now, and he has been campaigning for a while. He has not been hiding. He will give almost anyone an interview. So why haven't you about or from him? The Big Business Media wants to choose your candidate for you!

Are you really happy with the people and their politics that they have parading about like a little dog and pony show? I did not think so. Neither do I.

I find it despicable for anyone to define our candidates, and for that matter-the Democrats candidates, instead of allowing us the opportunity to get see them, hear them, and make up our own minds. Apparently, they do not believe we are able to handle this task. Either that, or they know we are and don't want us to do this.

Why could that be? Because we would choose the candidate which is most qualified and they would have no say in it. Thanks a heap, McCain.

Why am I supporting Rep. Duncan Hunter? You can go to his site and read up on his values and policies, but let me express my reasons.

Many people I've supported have a 'free' market ideology. I have a 'fair' trade belief. So does Rep. Hunter. It is refreshing to know that there is still a politian who believes America is the most important when it comes to trade. He does not trust China, and he knows they are cheating on trade. This will put to an end. He will also look at GATT and NAFTA. We are losing jobs to countries that are not friendly, nor are we doing better because of this.

He is pro-life, pro-border control, pro-defense of America, and pro-second amendment. He served in Viet Nam. His father served in WWII. His son has served 2 terms in Iraq...so far. He worked on the Armed Forces Committee while in Congress.

He agrees with many of us that we should not be giving immunity to illegally crossing border drug dealers just to imprison two of our border control officers whom were only doing their jobs.

Yes, I am supporting Duncan wholeheartedly and proudly. Won't you please listen to what he has said, and try to listen to him on the radio.

He appeared last night on Pundit Review Radio with Kevin and Gregg. You may listen to the interview. Actually, I recommend it! The program was especially good last night. (It's always good. That's why I said, "Especially...")

Duncan is also open to having bloggers and all of us work with him. Do your research well, then come and join the team. :)

Sen. Bill Clinton?

The thought of Bill Clinton taking over Hillary's seat in the Senate has escaped many minds, but Bill Sammon of the Washington Examiner has written about just this today.
Washington, D.C. - If Hillary Rodham Clinton wins the presidency, some top Democrats would like to see her husband, former President Bill Clinton, appointed to serve out Hillary's unexpired Senate term.

“As a senator, he’d be a knockout,” said Harold Ickes, who was once a top White House aide to Bill Clinton and now gives behind-the-scenes advice to Hillary. “He knows issues, he loves public policy and he’s a good politician.”
This is an interesting idea. Rather gruesome, but interesting. How many of you are willing to sit out this next election now?

Hat tip: Drudge Report.

Update: Thanks to BizzyBlog, I now know the link had been moved. If you have any trouble with that link, try this one. Thank you.

Congress has voted against us

Actions speak louder words, dear Congress members. You can say you support the troops, but I do not believe you. In the middle of a war, you do not fight the president as your enemy. You do not micromanage the war. This is for the Generals on the ground who actually know what is happening.

You need to be forewarned: We are coming for your seats. Period.

I am too upset to write further without saying something I should not...

1st-NRSC Pledgers; Now Victory Caucus

There was a pledge going around which over 30,000 people signed. The pledge involved money that usually goes go to the National Republican Senatorial Committee and the voting habits of some of the weakest Republicans in the Senate have made this reprehensible.

Many times the people who elect Republicans will overlook their flawed voting records, but not on this non-binding resolution vote. This vote was to let the Military know that the people who had sent them had no confidence in them. They wanted to allow our enemies a victory.

This was not their intent, but this would have been the result. So what do the pledgers do now? Where do they go?

After their great result in having the whole Senate hear them, there is a board of directors that has put together The Victory Caucus. Everyone who chooses victory over defeat in this war against World Wide Fascism is welcome. Are you a Democrat? Republican? Independent? Liberal? Conservative? You are more than welcome to join and have your voice heard.

This site was started Monday, February 12, 2007. Already they have over 1000 members. Consider this as the media tries to choose your candidate for you before you even get to make up your mind. Do not allow this to happen.

Turn off the TV. They know less than activists do about these candidates, and most of them are not mainstream in the press. You are the owner of your vote. Do your duty! Learn each candidate's background and voting record. Hopefully, they will even have a vision. If not, skip it. We are at a time in our country's history when vision is key. Thank you, and have a nice day.
