Americans, Wake Up!

It would appear that even after September 11, 2001, some people still do not understand that this is an ideologic war most of all. After all, who is doing most of the bombing of innocents and most of the blaming? I AM TALKING ABOUT THIS CENTURY. Good God.

Maybe I should let someone else speak for a moment.
How many more terror plots will we unravel before one slips through the net and is carried out again domestically? N.Y. City Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said after the announcement of the arrests on Face the Nation, “Al Qaida is a philosophy now..it’s a movement.” Well, that is a good first step away from denial. It has only taken six years to get that baby step. But it is not Al Qaeda only. I pray it will not take another 6 years for Americans to comprehend that the philosophical problem is political Islam. The President’s lack of clarity and leadership in naming the ideology of our enemy, the inconsistency of Islamism with American pluralism, and the primary responsibility of Muslims not only to counter terror but to defeat political Islam will continue to give American Islamists the cover they need to grow under his watch with the stamp of approval of the Bush administration. Until we are willing to unravel the ideology which facilitates and apologizes for terror, we are ‘stuck in the mud.’

On June 2, 2007, right after the announcement of the JFK Plot arrests, U.S. Attorney, Roslynn Mauskopf read a statement stating,
“the defendants are charged with conspiring to bomb one of the busiest airports in the United States, located in the one of the most densely populated areas in the northeast…had the plot been carried out, it could have resulted in unfathomable damage, deaths, and destruction.”
This last time the Islamists were driven by a hate for the Kennedy name, but it derives from the same hate for America which is a common manifestation of global Islamism. In the daily practice of medicine, it would be malpractice to have a disease smolder with such a predictable recurrence of acutely possibly fatal exacerbations over a prolonged period of time while a physician only treated the symptoms and ignored the primary cause—political Islam. That is, except in the case of the terminal hospice patient. An unending series of plots across the globe against liberal democracies is our long war against an ideology. That ideology is not terror. It is political Islam.
Would you believe him if he were a Christian? A Jew? How about a Hindu?
Mr. President, as a devout Muslim, I can tell you that the only way the United States can make progress in this war is to have your administration give anti-Islamist Muslims acknowledgement for the centrality of their ideas in this war of ideologies. We can defeat political Islam only if we engage it and marginalize Islamists while positively engaging spiritual Islam. It is time for the administration to set the parameters defining the ideology we are fighting and be critical of organizations which facilitate it. The words of encouragement and admonition to Muslim organizations to lead the charge against radicalism are too vague. The reality is that the priorities, ideologies, and minority politics of the current agenda of the Islamic organizations the administration has courted and which attended last Wednesday’s press conference are far from being on the right page in this conflict.
Yes, he is a Muslim who has been speaking out against these Islamists for years, but who has heard him? Who will give him the time of day? The press?
The informants and so many others have stepped up in connection with other foiled plots despite the pressures against them from Islamists and the MSM. MSM often feed into conspiracy theories about informants, by legitimizing the victimization of Muslims for being “coerced” as informants. The Denver Post made just such a claim as recently as May 18, 2007. Their report claimed that, “Arab-Americans and Muslims are concerned about FBI efforts to recruit them as informants and other tactics designed to prevent terrorism.” This story was, to no one’s surprise, picked up and widely distributed by the Islamist organizations, e.g. CAIR.
And you wonder why CAIR is prevelant with only 1700 members? America had better wake up to real and true threat that we are all facing. If you would like to read his entire article, you will find it here. You may also reach him at his site: American Islamic Forum for Democracy. If you keep up with his writings and read his site often, you may learn a lot more than what the establiment is telling you.

Before I end this post, I just want England and Scotland to know that I have not forgotten them, and they are in my prayers. I am gathering 'news' to try to determine what is really happening over there. I thank God, my Lord in Christ, that everyone is okay...this time. America, WAKE UP!

Hat tip: Thank you, Mr. Jasser.

Remain watchful against Islamists, and report them

I reported about the lawsuit against Islamic Society of Boston, and that was a victory for us. But only a small one, if we forget to remain vigilant. (H/t: Atlas Shrugs, AL Qaeda & ACLU Team Up Sue Boeing.)

Does that mean watch Muslims like a hawk? NO! Don't be silly. It means be aware of your surroundings as if you would if there were a rapist, a burglar, a child molester, or any other type of criminal intending to do harm.

I have received some news today that I would like to share with you. "Are You the Key to Homeland Security?". This was written by CBN News reporter Erick Stakelbeck on June 1, 2007. This is a longer version of the taped interview by HotAir.

It is up to you and me to make sure that America stays free and at the same time, innocent Muslims remain unmolested and unharmed. How do we do this? If I knew, I wouldn't be sitting here talking about it, I'd be doing it! Well, actually, this is how I am doing it. Reminding us, sharing information, keeping informed, etc.

That is why I would like to speak to you about a man by the name of Dr. Zuhdi Jasser. He is a Muslim who has been single-handedly fighting these radicals. He has also started a site called American Islamic Forum for Democracy. He has received death threats--the norm it seems for this 'peaceful' religion, he has been censored, yet he has brought to the attention of his fellow Muslim brothers and sisters that they are not alone.

If he can do this, I intend on doing whatever it is I can do to help spread the word. If you go to his site, you can also join up to help spread the news that Muslims need not hide. They are welcome here, but only if they decide to become more American.

By 'becoming more American,' I mean straight out: Pledge allegiance to America. Period. Become our brothers and sisters. If not, do not expect any respect from us. You will not have earned it. We come before your religion. After all, isn't that what your religion teaches you? That is, when you read it rationally, what it says.

Source: This was sent by way of the AIFD, Dr. Zuhdi Jasser, Founder.

Update: The story that Atlas Shrugs wrote was about the ongoing battle between the power we have to be diligent and survive or get sued, shut up, and die. Not much of a choice if you ask me. That is why I say, "Remain diligent."

Watch this if you can; Glenn Beck and Zuhdi Jasser

I just received this through email, and this is a good show. Mr. Jasser is founder of American Islamic Forum for Democracy. Jasser is trying to reach the moderate Muslims to let them know they are not alone. They can band together to fight back against the radicals. It is worth your time.
Glenn Beck will be interviewing M. Zuhdi Jasser, AIFD Chairman on "Glenn Beck" on the CNN Headline News Channel today, Wednesday, May 23, 2007.

The Glenn Beck Show airs from 7PM-8PM EST (4PM-5PM PST) and from 9PM-10PM EST (6PM-7PM PST) and from 12AM-1AM EST (9PM-10PM PST). The exact time of the segment with Dr. Jasser's interview is not known at this time.

The segment will build on yesterday's discussion on the program (Transcript is available here) on the recent Pew Research Center for the People & the Press out this week showing that "One in four younger U.S. Muslims support suicide bombings at least rarely." The study summary is linked here.
Mr. Jasser is also one of the Muslims who has been silenced by PBS. He participated in the film, "Islam vs. Islamists". You may join us in protesting this by joining the site, "Free the Film". They have taken too much advantage of us with our own money...

Can the religion of Islam be seperated from the politics?

I have received an e-mail from American-Islamic Forum for Democracy, and their view is that it is possible. Serendip, I would appreciate it if you could read this and help my readers and me to understand more clearly if this is true. I really would like to believe so, but I have my doubts.

This could be for the same reason PBS and CPB denied the viewing of Islam vs. Islamists. (I do not know where to find a link to the actual film, just reports about it.)

While we are waiting to hear from these moderate Muslims, the media and the government is helping the Islamists to silence them. SHAME ON THEM. Please go to the AIFD site, and decide for yourself. Don't allow our media to dissway you. Thank you, and have a nice day.

PS: Serendip, if you don't mind, I would like to add your report when you send it to me. Is that okay with you? If you say no, then it is no. :)

Update: Serendip has read the article and been to the site, and here are her words:
Dear Rosemary: I read the post you asked me...I'm no expert on Islam by any means. Islam is not a uniform practice and ideology. There are hundreds of different interpretation of the scripture and denomination. Shia Islam is vastly different than Sunni Islam. Khomeinism is different than the original doctrine of the Shia. Many Shia believe Khomeinism is not true shi'ism. At any rate, the question we should be concerned about is which branch of Islam and it's interpretation has the political, economical, and grand plan to harm and destroy us? And the answer to that is Khomeinist Shia in Iran and the Wahhabist in Saudi Arabia who have all the cash and vast network of cells and intelligence to turn people against us ideologically and militarily mobilize them...That's what we need to focus on...Who is out to destroy our way of life in the name of any religion and has the means to do it. I hope I was helpful...Have a wonderful weekend and God bless. See my latest post and tell me what you think.

Hugs,

Serendip
Hugs right back atcha! :)

She is a very sweet woman with a heart worth more than gold. If you would like to learn about Iranian living, her's is the site to read. You must be strong, though. It is NOT like living in the USA. No. Not at all. This is why people must open their eyes.

PSS: My dear friend Nathan is having another open trackback this weekend. This would be a good comparative article, since he has a Christian site. I would like to have as much input as there is out there. Thank you everyone, and God bless you.

Moderate Muslim Voices Silenced

As I have been informing you, PBS has been silencing the true moderate Muslims. This is wrong. I am glad to state that some of our newspapers are beginning to see the light as well.
PBS won't show 'Islam vs. Islamists,'
but you should see it, says ROD DREHER
.
02:19 PM CDT on Sunday, May 13, 2007

I've asked myself a thousand times since 9/11: Where are all the moderate Muslims? We're assured that there's a silent majority of Muslims who want nothing to do with the jumped-up jihadists. But those voices are few and far between.

Here's the good news: The makers of the PBS-commissioned documentary, "Islam vs. Islamists: Voices from the Center," did find some outspoken moderate Muslims and profiled them and their astonishing courage. The film shows these men mounting a lonely resistance against Muslim leaders in the West who are fronting a false moderate face to the public while using oil money from Gulf Arab sources to make their hard-line version of Islam the norm.

Here's the bad news: PBS refused to air the film as part of its recent "America at the Crossroads" series, even though it had been scheduled. I saw Islam vs. Islamists and concluded that it's absolutely vital to informed public debate. That PBS decided not to show, at least for now, such an important film is shocking. [Continue reading.]
It boggles my mind that people, while faced with danger to their homeland, will team with the enemy because they don't care for their leaders. It isn't about them. Grow up. For Christ's sake, grow up and join the rest of us who love this country.

Are you worried about Islam? No need to be

There are many Muslims that do not subscribe to the terroristic features of Islam. There is an organization known as American-Islamic Forum for Democracy which is trying to cause reform within the Islamic community. This is where the change is going to have to occur.

I just happen to have obtained some articles that you may be interested in:
1] PBS's Islam Problem by Robert Peach in Commentary Magazine. May 6, 2007
2] Twin Visions: Moderates and Radicals wrestle for the soul of Islam in Minneapolis-St.Paul and beyond by Mark Bergin in World Magazine. May 5, 2007 (subscription only or article can be purchased).
3] A Glimmer of Hope by Gary Bauer in Human Events, May 4, 2007.
4] Free the Film that PBS won't let you see. by Deroy Murdock. Scripps Howard News Service. May 3, 2007
5] In Imams' Airline case a clash of Rights Prejudice, Security. by Alexandra Marks. Christian Science Monitor. May 2, 2007.
6] Recent television media: See our multimedia page for video of recent television interviews.
Above is a list of reports and citations. There is more from National Review:
A reaction to the 6 arrested for planning to attack Fort Dix.
News of the FBI’s arrests of six militant Islamists in New Jersey who plotted to kill our soldiers at Fort Dix was met yet again with the same tired responses of shock and dismissal from the mainstream media (MSM) and from major American Islamist organizations. An FBI agent poignantly noted that we “dodged another bullet.” The enemy is certainly rearming and germinating another cell somewhere...
The National Review has also written an article about this organization.
John Doe' protections urged for Fort Dix tipster.

By Audrey Hudson
THE WASHINGTON TIMES
Published May 11, 2007

The New Jersey store clerk whose tip led to the arrest of six terror suspects needs legislative protection from being sued as a "John Doe" or whistleblower, lawmakers said yesterday.
I have to come right back with the link. This obviously is not the National Review. It is the Washington Times. I have to publish this to discover where I went wrong. You know the old saying, you can't see what's wrong with it while you're staring at it! lol.

Update: Everything should be okay now. Have a great day.

Religion of Peace: UK-5 found guilty; Video

Imagine that? Such nice young men. All they want is your head. Is that too much to ask? Come on! The democrats believe them, why don't you? Could this have something to do with it? Aww, but these are peaceful people.

News on the Documentary: Islam vs. Islamists

There has been much writing and many phone calls, yet CPB and PBS still refuse to release the documentary, "Islam vs. Islamists." If you go to this site, you may sign a petition for the release of this documentary. You may also leave your e-mail so that when we have finally won this battle, you may buy your own DVD of the documentary. I highly recommend you do. Thank you.

The Religion of Brotherly Love v. AIFD

With an opening statement like that one might assume I was referring to the city of Philadelphia, but no. I am speaking about the Muslim Brotherhood. While it sounds nice, a brotherhood and all, it is a front group for terrorists. It has been ever since I've been looking into them. Heck, they were supporting terrorists even before that.

The Brotherhood sprung up in the year 1928 and was banned from existence due to terrorist acts toward the Egyptian government but was later reinstated in 1948 as a religious body only. That did not work out too well, so there was again a ban on the group in 1954. When some of the activists were executed, many fled to neighboring states.

Here are some more links to the history of the Muslim Brotherhood: This group, no matter it's birthplace and stated purpose at that time, has become a political and military arm on the Global War on Terrorism. They are the enemy. The problem we see today, however, is that our own government does not seem to recognize this fact. For shame.

I found a very educational article over at CounterTerrorismBlog:
PBS’s week-long “America at a Crossroads” series presented many of the issues and dilemmas now facing America in the War on Terrorism. The series got mixed reviews on content and temper. There were criticisms about its objectivity from both the left and right. But, despite its flaws, the series provided viewers with a heavy dose of food for thought. Hopefully, it will help stimulate discussion and debate among a growing number of Americans, and perhaps even lead to more close scrutiny and questioning of aspects of Administration policy.

I intend to write several blogs on issues discussed in the series. I had the opportunity to participate in one of the films, The Brotherhood, so I shall begin there. [Continue reading]
If you are interested, you can take a gander at this site: America at a Crossroads. This site is marvelously done. I have not yet listened to the program, but I can only imagine that it has been watered down. After all, we are still fighting to get CPB and PBS to release "Islam v. Islamists." (This is an earlier post I wrote.) The CounterTerrorismBlog contributor, Victor Comras, has contributed "The Brotherhood" to this series. Please visit his site for more information. (The link is above at the 'continue reading' link.)

The American Islamic Forum for Democracy is one of the moderate Islamic groups that speaks out against all the violence--without blaming others by saying, "But..." They do not blame Israel in the same breath. Their interest is in being heard so they can take their religion back from the psychopaths who have hijacked it. They are also fighting back against CAIR.

Here is a very good article I ran to on their site: PBS’ Islamist Apologists Muzzle Muslim Moderates at the site "9/11 Families for a Safe and Strong America," and here is an article written by M. Zuhdi Jasser. He can explain in more detail the crisis we are facing in our country between the dinosaur media vs. the rest of us.

We do not hear from the moderates, a question most often asked, because the media, the government and the Islamists we are at war with are preventing it. That should give you grave concern. After all, the documentary that was created, "Islam vs. Islamists", was bought and paid for by you and me with our tax dollars. That makes it government citizen owned. That also makes it censorship. Why are they doing this terrible thing? So as not to hurt our enemy's feelings? Very scary...

Campus Forum on Islam and how to handle 'them'

I found a great article over at LGF today about a panel that was held last night. The panel included Yaron Brook (more quality information on him here), Wafa Sultan (see her famous video here), and Daniel Pipes. Very impressive panel.

Needless to say there protesters there, but this time it was different. If you want to find out how it was different, you must go to Student of Objectivism's and Infidels are Cool's sites to check out what happened. There are pictures and video as well.

Wow! I have just finished reading Exclusive Coverage Of Drs. Sultan, Pipes, And Brook At UCLA Panel Discussion On Islam With Protests [video/pics] *Updated*, and it is very good. Check it out. This is the one by Infidels are Cool. Have a great day.

PBS used tax $$$ to create a show they will not air: Islam v. Islamists

Mr. Frank Gaffney of Center for Security Policy has created a remarkable documentary, so I hear, but PBS is now refusing to air it. Why? Because they 'say' that it has been created by someone with an agenda (unlike PBS?). While Frank is the President and CEO of the Center, this project was in no way connected to said Center.

You must read the dilemma that has come to the light, and what we can do about the censorship that PBS is trying to use against these moderate Muslims. It is truly a disgrace and it is, at best, a useless waste of our tax dollars.

This documentary went through many screenings and hundreds of other applicants before reaching its final version. The truth of the matter is this. The public broadcasting system does not want the American people to see the truth behind the Islamists, and they do not want to give the moderate Muslims who want to take their religion back a voice. It is almost as if CAIR is running the show...and if they are, we have more problems than those of which we are aware.

The proof, evidence if you will, is right here that the show was to air. Why won't they allow someone else to air it, and what are they hiding?

Read the e-mail I received with the information here. I will have the number and name later.
