SCOTUS rules, Right drools, Left moos

Cross-posted at Rosemary's Thoughts.

It's the only word that I could think of that rhymes, okay? Now let's move forward. The SCOTUS may have to go back and look at the way they ruled on the McCain/Feingold Incumbant Protection Act-er-Campaing Finance Reform Act.

They have ruled today on FEC v. Wisconsin Right to Life (No. 06-969) and McCain v. Wisconsin Right to Life (No. 06-970). The outcome was finally correct. Most normal people may breathe a sigh of relief. Finally, the court has decided that it cannot take away our free speech rights. Especially during a campaign!

If you would like to read any of the decisions, you will find them here:
You can read the ACLJ amicus brief here.
You can read the Supreme Court decision here.

Led by Chief Counsel Jay Sekulow, the American Center for Law and Justice specializes in constitutional law and is based in Washington, D.C.
There is another case that was disclosed today. Hein v. Freedom From Religion Foundation (U.S. No. 06-157). This one is about some athiets trying stop the use Faith Based programs. You can more here. You may also find related sources here:
ACLJ Pleased Supreme Court Loosens Limits on Election Advertising.

CNS News - Supreme Court Says No to Challenge of Federal Faith-Based Initiative.

ACLJ Represents Members of Congress in Asking Supreme Court to Uphold Constitutionality of Child Porn Law.

ChurchReport.com - A Supreme Court Vacancy Looming?

Full Issue Brief.
I am getting so fed up with the ignorance of the American people. THERE IS NO SEPERATE OF CHURCH AND STATE. Read your constitution if you don't believe me. Show me where you find those words! Besides, if it were so, why did they have prayers and Church inside the Congress? HMM? Oh, you did not know this? See, that's what I'm talking about. I am not saying people are stupid. I wouldn't do that. I am saying you are ignorant to the facts of history.

(Probably for the same reason I was/am. I was bored to tears by the teachers I got stuck with! But now we have no excuse. We are older.) After Psalm 96, read the 5th paragraph. You will find that our FIRST President and our FIRST congress recognized God Almighty. If, as they are trying to say now, we are to have no contact with our Maker, I dare say, how are we supposed to live? Like animals? I WILL NOT!

I'm quite sure there are many more souces (just look in our governmental archives), but I really must get going. I have much work to do over at DoD Daily News-2, DoD Daily News and Rosemary's Thoughts. I've decided to consolidate everything I write over at Rosemary's Thoughts. Plus, I am going to writing over there by myself and for myself. Since it's new, I can spill my guts and no one will notice. lol. Everyone have a nice day.

PS. Even the Left should be grateful, even though this ruling did not go their way. This ruling did go the way of Free Speech. At least for THAT we can agree.

Blackfive (et al) turns 4 years old today!

Blackfive is one of the greatest milblogs in the whole blogosphere. Are you wondering what you can do to help in the war effort? Go to Blackfive's site. Are you looking for information on a member of your family or you have some information you want to share? Just e-mail Matt (from Blackfive).

Matt is a true-blue Patriot. He has worn our uniform, and he embodies the true meaning of duty, honor and country. Do you want to be informed or led around by the nose of the dinosaur media whom have never known anyone who has served, let alone served themselves? He is the one to seek out for help. While he has hung his uniform on it's hangers, he still serves us through his blog.

He also several very professional, funny, serious, humble and Veterans writing on his site. They are very near and dear to me as well. Uncle Jimbo even has his own "Friday Freely"! It used to be on YouTube, until they decided they did not want Military videos on their site.

LET THAT BE A LESSON TO YOU, YOUTUBE! You may find much better videos over at Hot Air!

Pardon the interruption, but I am very angered at that decision. I love those Friday Freely's.

Blogger sued by muslim terrorist

Atlas Shrugg has a very scary and provocative post entitled, "Blogger Sued for Publishing Stories About Muslims linked to Terror". This is one article I am recommending to everyone. It can affect every blogger, newspaper, TV news channels and our entire free speech right. After all, it was given to us by God, and it was sanctified in the 1st Amendment.

How did they get the injunction? There are several judges that believe they are the final arbiters of the constitution! We must seek them out and impeach them if they will not leave the bench. Any judge that is not aware that there is a first amendment, does not need to be on the bench of any district in the USA.

Go read it. It was done very well. I checked the links, and it backs up everything said. After all, truth is an absolute defense. My God, what are coming to?

Update: I found the lawyers and address of this law firm defending them from a commenter by the name of Fight4TheRight. (Thank you!)

This is one way we can let these people know just who they're dealing with and what happens when they do. We don't go away either!

HONG KONG, May 3, 2007—China’s powerful propaganda czars have pronounced the death knell for a magazine that ran hard-hitting exposes of official corruption, turning it into a cultural and lifestyle digest of mainly previously published materials, Radio Free Asia (RFA) reports. [Continue reading.]

Civil Rights and Human Rights are Real

I have been dealing with something for a very long, for my whole lifetime. I know about racism, civil rights being denied, and more. I lived through. I can guarantee to you that it is much better today in America these day, at least the way I used to experience it.

Today there is true racism, genocide, civil rights abuses, and crimes against humanity. Most of it is NOT being performed in America. It makes me angry, sad, and frustrated.

You see here in America, we have too much time on our hands. We must. We never look beyond ourselves, and NEVER expect your government to do what you should have been doing all along. Do not cry racism just because of the color of your skin when you are arrested for committing a crime! Damn it, you're guilty. Be a grown-up, like I was, and take your punishment. Heck, if you can't do that, then maybe you shouldn't be out there committing crimes, eh? (You really shouldn't anyway.)

There are so many people that need our attention, our voices. The media will not pay attention to that which they do not know. Where are the demonstrations for Darfur? They should be in every city every weekend until something is done. Forget the UN. They are a farce. They cannot even get together and call it genocide what is going on there.

We should not wait for them, yet you all cry for the UN. Why? You hamstring the president's hands, because he is a Republican. May I ask you something personal? Are you a bigot? A bigot is an ignorant person who would allow hundreds of thousands of people die because they do not like the political party of the president. You disgust me. You cannot claim that you care. You most certainly do not. I don't care what party White House. If they can save lives? I am for it!

There is slavery, genocide, real torture, real racism all over the continent of Africa being thrust upon them by radicalist IslamoNazi's. Do you care? Then stop being so quick to use the race card when you get stuck in a discussion with someone whom you disagree but cannot rebut their common sense reasoning.

Bottom line: Genocide in Darfur, genocide in the gulags in North Korea, imprisoning of homosexuals in Iran and Cuba and many countries, political prisioners truly tortured in Iran and Zimbabwe and China and Saudi Arabia and Egypt and many more countries, genitillia mutalization in the African and Muslim countries, children forced into prostitution and slavery in China and North Korea and Sudan and Africa and the Middle East and more countries, etc, etc.

If you think you've got it bad, why don't try living there? If not, why not try fighting for their freedom? You don't have to save them all. I know it can be overwhelming. Pick one. It's a lot better than being a bigot.

Asian News 4/11/2007

Someone said something about something...

As I said, someone said something about someone. I don't know what it was, nor do I know when it was said. Nor do I care. So someone was little enough to say something little about someone. So what? It happens everyday. It does not affect me, because I do not allow it.

I do not listen to little people for this precise reason. So what if they say something so little? I do not have the time nor the desire to get my feathers all ruffled. The fact that so many do is much more of a dangerous problem that I see.

This is still a country where free speech is touted as a First Amendment right. That means everyone has a say. Do not listen to those who are so ignorant, and certainly do not allow them to take up a moment of your day.

We are facing annihation, and you really care what others think? That, my dears, is very dangerous. It is only a luxery we can afford when we have too much time on our hands...

Incumbent Protection Act on Trial Again

Actually, it is known as McCain-Feingold's, "Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act." HA! That's a laugh. Now they are trying to shut up bloggers as well. But that's a different story from this.

In the 2004 elections, Wisconsin's Right to Life tried to run an ad asking voters to call the Senate to tell their representatives not to join in the filibuster against President Bush' judicial nominees. They were denied access by the FEC, because they said that this group was trying to influence the outcome of the election.

May I pleace ask a question? Why do we have to listen to all these blowhards who have a lot of money from the lobbyists they get to have lunch with while our political free speech is silenced? Are we truly equal or are polititians more privileged than we?

I found out that this is going to the SCOTUS (Supreme Court of the US) in April and will be decided by the end of the court's term this year. This is a good thing. A bad thing? President Bush is siding with the FEC. So is McCain. Who isn't siding with Bush and McCain? The RNC! My God, what is going on around here?

If you would like to read more about this issue, there is an article in the Washington Post entitled, High Court To Revisit Campaign Finance Law written by Robert Barnes and Matthew Mosk. If you would care to look up this case, it's numbers are Federal Election Commission v. Wisconsin Right to Life (06-969) and McCain v. Wisconsin Right to Life (06-970). Have a great day.

Mr. President: I told you so.

I have been reading about Mr. Sean Treglia who used to work at Pew Charitable Trusts. You would think the press would be all over this. They are not. You would think the bloggers would be all over this. They are not. Oh, some have written a few sentences here and there, but nothing like Rathergate. Why or why not?

This is the feedback I wrote to them:
"Good afternoon. I have been reading articles that are stating that Mr. Sean Treglia "broke the spirit of the law" (his words) while giving a speech at USC. Is this true?

This has to do with the Philadelphia-based branch and campaign finance reform. I would like to have your side of the issue before I go to print. If I do not hear from you, I will assume the NY Post and the Opinion Journal are correct in their statements. I would be very disappointed if this is the case.

Do you understand how much damage you have done? (If this is true.)

I understand he no longer works there. Was he fired because of this? I look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible. It goes to print Tuesday evening.

Thank you for your time.
I told them I am from the Americans for Truth and Justice, which is true. I am for truth, and I am for justice. I am also very American! So what is the big deal I am talking about?

Mr. Sean Treglia gave a speech at USC, and he virtually confessed to fruad. It was all intended for the 535 people in power in Washington, DC. He also did much damage to you and me.

How did he do that? Ryan Sager of the New York Post online has obtained a video tape of a conference held at USC's Annenberg School for Communication in March of 2004 about how he got away with scamming the Congress and Senate into voting for Campaign Finance Reform, otherwise known as Incumbent Security Reform. See for yourself:
Charged with promoting campaign-finance reform when he joined Pew in the mid-1990s, Treglia came up with a three-pronged strategy: 1) pursue an expansive agenda through incremental reforms, 2) pay for a handful of "experts" all over the country with foundation money and 3) create fake business, minority and religious groups to pound the table for reform.

"The target audience for all this activity was 535 people in Washington," Treglia says — 100 in the Senate, 435 in the House. "The idea was to create an impression that a mass movement was afoot — that everywhere they looked, in academic institutions, in the business community, in religious groups, in ethnic groups, everywhere, people were talking about reform."
Well, well. How about that? Do you realize the FEC is going after bloggers' free speech? Go ahead and sit pretty in your cubicles, but when that day comes and you've said and did nothing, I don't want to hear it.

So what can we do? We can have Congress investigate this? Yeah right. They already look like fools to me. How about having the President tell the Justice Department to look at it? Yeah right. He's the one who signed it into law in the first place. I called so many times trying to reason with him, and he signed it anyway. No. We can't even go to the IRS, because Treglia was careful enough to disclose to them what he was doing.

So what now? We go to the Federal Elections Board? They are the ones trying to shut you and me down. I'm thinking, alright?! The next election is coming. We can make this a big issue. A law has been given, and a law can been taken away!

Campaign only for people who promise to fight illegal aliens and to repeal the campaign finance reform law. We have to come together. I don't believe Republicans or Democrats like being duped. Let us show the press that if they do not do their jobs, we will.

If the press had investigated this, PEW would have been laughed out of DC. The PEW has/had no credibility in Washington, according to Mr. Treglia. That is why the people who ran the ads did not include the fact that the PEW Trust fund had financed them.

This is illegal. This violates the transparency issues. Of $140 million dollars, $123 million was received from only 8 fundraising organizations. Yes, Soros was one of them. They want to silence us, so we must not let that happen. Keep this story alive. I want him behind bars. I'm pretty sure there will be updates to this.

My friend Jack of Clubs has been doing a very good job on keeping everyone informed about this. He has a list of everyone he knows who has written an article about this. Please visit his site to get more ideas. Thank you, and keep on blogging!
