UN, Iran, and Protestors

This is the report I turned in to Knickerbocker News. You cannot imagine how hard it is to hold my tongue! I hate this man, Ahmadinejad. That is why it came out to be a very small article. I have put 3 days of research into this, and I could not find more to put into an article that wouldn't gag me! Have at it! Have a great day.

Here stand silently hostages taken in 1979 for 444 days. They are still wondering if their government cares about it's diplomats, because it gave a visa to the man in charge, Ahmadinejad.
Titled: Iran is a Prison of 70 million people.

On June 26, 1945, 50 countries signed on and ratified the charter to the United Nations. However, it did not come into existence until October 24, 1945. This week they are celebrating 60 years of the UN's existence, however United Nations Day is not celebrated until October 24.

This a picture of Akbar Ganji after being on hunger strike for several weeks.

The State Department in charge of South Asia has allowed a visa to be approved for Ahmadinejad of Iran. For those who do not know of him, he is a terrorist. Retired Air Force colonel, David Roeder can attest to this, along with others.

This is Mr. Batebi, political prisoner on the run.

Mr. Ahmadinejad was escorted to the UN, and he presented a speech that sounded as if it came from the USA. At this time, sources have told The Daily Briefing on Iran there were 7-9,000 protesters outside of the UN. They were protesting his election, his strict rule, his treatment of political prisoners, his governments murder of a Canadian reporter who was Iranian, and many other topics, such as political prisoner Akbar Ganji and Batebi. "I was told that there were also speakers including Ken Timmerman speaking at the event." Quote by Dr. Zin.

There are also many bloggers covering this issue because of the Iran situation. People from Iran, such as Korosh, Daily Briefing on Iran, and RoozOnline, an Iranian cyber newspaper.

Here are some pictures captured at the UN. Some were taken September 13, 2005 by the Sun Sentinel. There were many people protesting from all over the country. Can you imagine this happening in...say...Iran?
These people are protesting the Chinese government to free Tibet.
