Pundit Review: The bridge between old & new media

Sunday night is the night I like to sit back and relax while I listen to one of my favorite radio programs. The Pundit Review Radio program, hosted by Kevin and Gregg, also have a website at Pundit Review. They usually have some of the most amazing guests. That's because they interview bloggers!

This is the one show that will bridge the gap between the dinosaur media, citizen journalists and bloggers. They are definitely blazing the way forward in the new media.

They are on the radio every Sunday night from 7pm-10pm EST on station WRKO. You may streamline this program from your computer! Sometimes the sports games interrupt them, which really aggrivates me, but I do not have a large enough following to make much noise about it...yet. lol. Just keep checking if this happens.

This Sunday they are going to have Dean Barnett (from Hugh Hewitt) as a guest at 7pm EST. Then at 9pm EST, they will have my favorite topic at 9pm, "Someone You Should Know" by Matt from Blackfive. Matt will bring us each week a story about the bravery and awesomeness of our Military men and women.

If you happen to miss one of the programs, Kevin and Gregg have an archive for you. You may request their feed. It is really fabulous.

Here is an article written by Kevin about a young man who calls the program frequently. He is an amazing inspiration to us all.
Dylan Desilva, the 14-year old founder of Cape Cod Cares 4 The Troops, was honored tonight by the Boston Celtics as a Hero Among Us. What a deserving honor for a young man who has shown such incredible dedication to the men and women in the armed forces. Dylan’s organization has sent thousands of care packages to soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Gregg and I got to know Dylan through the radio show and tonight we met this impressive young man for the first time. We were lucky enough to be there along with Dylan’s parents, Paul and Michelle, his sister, brother, aunt and uncle. Dylan also brought with him some of the soldiers and Marines who received care packages from Cape Cod Cares 4 The Troops who are now back home and helping his group.

Dylan received a spontaneous standing ovation from the Boston Garden crowd as his story was told by the PA announcer. It was quite a moment.
You can read the article about him over at The Pundit Review.
