Heroes in the Global War on Terror

Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer Jason Taggart and Former Kentucky National Guard Spc. Ashley Pullen each received a Bronze Star with Combat "V". CPO Taggart received his for commanding two of the first personnel security detachment teams in Iraq, and NG Spc Pullen received her's for helping stave off a large insurgent ambush on her convoy in Iraq.
