Next Primary-Bill Sali for Congress

I have been cruising the blog and news of the Club for Growth. Lo and behold! I received this e-mail this mail morning. I would like to share it with you.
The next primary race is only 12 days away. Our endorsed candidate, State Rep. Bill Sali, is running for an open Republican seat in Idaho's first congressional district against 5 other candidates, including three tax-hiking Republicans! Bill has compiled an outstanding pro-taxpayer record in the Idaho Legislature. He has never voted for a tax increase and has pounded away again and again at excessive spending, prompting political retribution against him from establishment forces that favor bigger government. Click here to donate to Bill's campaign today. If you don't want to donate to the Club's PAC or to Sali's campaign online, please have your credit card ready and call us toll free at (800) 784-2741. Or you can mail us a check made payable to Club for Growth PAC and/or Sali for Congress to the address below.

Thank you for your support.

Best Regards,

Would it not be great if we could show the White House how angry we are by taking out the incumbants? I sincerely believe this is a better offensive than staying home and doing nothing. If you choose to stay home, the results will partly your fault.

I am very angry about this amnesty bill. Let us use all of power to make a statement: Listen to your base, because we run the show. Not you!

Isn't that a better message? I believe it is. We need to cut spending, make the tax cuts permanent, get rid of this out of control pork busting budgets, regulations (especially at the airports!) and more. The best way to fight back is to replace those candidates whom have forgotten why we sent them in the first place.

What do you think? Are you with me on this? Then let's get with it! Give the Club a call, write to the editors of your local papers, call talk radio, make your voices heard, but be polite. I know how maddening this is, but we cannot win by screaming. It just does not become us.

Okay political troops. You have your marching orders. Go!
