Chili Justice

You guys have to read this. Imagine it...a communist telling the court that a left-wing defendent won't get a fair trial because "Chile’s justice system is still influenced by the military dictatorship." lol. They ought to know, eh?!

This story is about a former leader who is charged with

participating in the murder of Sen. Jaime Guzmán, founder of the Independent Democratic Union Party (UDI) and the kidnapping of businessman Cristián Edwards, son of the owner of Chilean daily El Mercurio, Agustín Edwards.

Edwards and Guzmán were kidnapped and murdered in 1991, shortly after the end of Chile’s military dictatorship led by Gen. Augusto Pinochet.
