The Time is Now

It is time for action. No more talk-in Darfur.

OBJECTIVE 1: PROTECT CIVILIANS AND RELIEF SUPPLIES IN DARFUR
The African Union (AU) needs a stronger mandate and more troops. Enforce the Security Council's ban on fly overs in Darfur. What they do is fly over, find out where the people are, and then they attack them without any justification. Fourth, we need to dismantle Kartoum's militias. Finally, we need to make it possible for the refugees to return to their homes, what is left of them.

OBJECTIVE 2: IMPLEMENT ACCOUNTABILITY IN DARFUR
The Security Council was to have institutions in place by April 28, 2005 as per Resolution 1591. Let us apply pressure on the UN, also, to move quickly.

OBJECTIVE 3: BUILD A DARFUR PEACE PROCESS

OBJECTIVE 4: IMPLEMENT THE CPA BETWEEN KHARTOUM AND THE SPLM
