"The foundation of national morality must be laid in private families. ... How is it possible that Children can have any just Sense of the sacred Obligations of Morality or Religion if, from their earliest Infancy, they learn their Mothers live in habitual Infidelity to their fathers, and their fathers in as constant Infidelity to their Mothers?" --John Adams
So...the Framers did not consider these things as precious? They did not understand the foundation of any viable society begins with the family? Hmm.

"The true principle of government is this -- make the system compleat in its structure; give a perfect proportion and balance to its parts; and the powers you give it will never affect your security." --Alexander Hamilton
Does this include the juduciary? It seems to have failed.

"It is not honorable to take mere legal advantage, when it happens to be contrary to justice." --Thomas Jefferson
Gee, you'd think this person was calling the people to arms!

"The scheme, my dear Marqs. which you propose as a precedent, to encourage the emancipation of the black people of this Country from that state of Bondage in which they are held, is a striking evidence of the benevolence of your Heart. I shall be happy to join you in so laudable a work." --George Washington
So will I. I wonder how many people are aware of him ever speaking these words? That is what you get with public (government) schools. Like they say, "You get what you paid for."
