Update: Daniel Gade
God bless you, Gade family. Thank you for your sacrifices, and may the Lord lead your paths in His grace.Tuesday, April 5, 2005 10:20 PM CDT
Greetings,
Sorry this is so late. I didn't look at the answering machine, after our walk, until nearly bedtime. Daniel had a very exciting day today. He is making a pair of moccasins in OT. That exercise will help build his fine motor skills. He walked with his walker and did balancing/strength exercises in PT. The most exciting was that he was casted for the prosthetic leg today. It is a day ahead of schedule...again. He said it felt good to have 2 stable sides as they were doing the casting. They are developing a new technique and Daniel will be the first to go start to finish. He also was able to watch another hip disartic walk with no cane, walker or other helps. Lots of good stuff is happening. Praise the Lord. Thanks to all of you prayer warriors. We have to wonder just what the Lord has in mind for Daniel.Praises-
Daniel continues to improve in strength and stamina.
He continues to slowly improve with fine motor skills.
New techniques are being developed before our very eyes.
