Update: Daniel Gade

There is a fine Captain who was injured in Iraq. He is making so much improvement. I am very happy for his family and him. Please continue to pray for them. His wife is keeping a journal for their experience, and I thought it would be nice to share with you. Feel free to visit her journal.

Greetings,

Sorry this is so late. I didn't look at the answering machine, after our walk, until nearly bedtime. Daniel had a very exciting day today. He is making a pair of moccasins in OT. That exercise will help build his fine motor skills. He walked with his walker and did balancing/strength exercises in PT. The most exciting was that he was casted for the prosthetic leg today. It is a day ahead of schedule...again. He said it felt good to have 2 stable sides as they were doing the casting. They are developing a new technique and Daniel will be the first to go start to finish. He also was able to watch another hip disartic walk with no cane, walker or other helps. Lots of good stuff is happening. Praise the Lord. Thanks to all of you prayer warriors. We have to wonder just what the Lord has in mind for Daniel.

Praises-
Daniel continues to improve in strength and stamina.
He continues to slowly improve with fine motor skills.
New techniques are being developed before our very eyes.
Other patients are also getting helped.
The casting went well and the new leg is being fashioned.
AnnaGrace loves her dad.

Prayers-
Continued improvement of the damaged nerves
Continued control of the infection.
Strength for Daniel, Wendy and AnnaGrace.
Daniel's troops and other troops in Iraq.Freedom and protection for the Iraqi people.

May God bless you all.
