Yesterday I received an e-mail from American Online giving me the heads up on what is going to happen today.

There will be a 90 minute outage on Blogger tomorrow night at 10pm (PST). During this outage we will be addressing power management in the Blogger cluster, thus allowing us to substantively increase the number of machines serving the site.

Thanks for your patience during this downtime - the upgrade will allow us to make continued improvements to the service's stability and performance.
