On January 24, 2005, it is reported that 8 more villages were attacked and burned to the ground. No one seems to know by who or how many have died. On January 24, 2005, it is reported that a poll was taken by PIPA Knowledge Networks of Americans about whether or not the UN should "step in with military force and stop the genocide in Darfur." To many polititian's surprise, almost 75% agree that something has to be done, even while we are at war elsewhere. This is a non-partisan issue. [read more]

On January 26, 2005, it was reported that on December 16, three Christian Aid Workers were abducted in Darfur. The Adventist Development and Relief Agency International (ADRA) said thatthree of its Sudanese workers had been kidnapped at gunpoint. They were in rebel held land of Labado, South Darfur, where they were drilling for wells. The link I have been given does not allow me entrance to the news. It is for the Sudan Tribune.
