DoD Improves Discharges with VA
Apparently when anyone leaves the Military, they have to have an examination by the Department of Defense to clear them. Then, maybe a few months later, they have to go to the Veteran's Admministration without any records or notes from the previous exam. These two groups also have different forms. Now they have reached an agreement to electronically record the records in a way that will both satisfy both the DoD exam and the VA exam, and also make it easier on our Military to go through all the tests once.
